Whatever one sows

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7,8 ESV

Some folks call this Karma, others “what goes around comes around” but these verses make it plain that however we treat others is how we will be treated. So, if we follow our fleshly desires whatever they may be we will reap corruption. Corruption means death, decay and rot. That is what sowing to the flesh repays. Not a pretty picture is it?

Any of us that have experienced this kind of reaping, realize just what kind of pain we have put others through. Because, we have received back what we have put out.

So today, remember to be careful what you sow, because that is what you will reap. “God is not mocked.”

Think about what Jesus said... "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 ESV Think before you speak or act, because it will come back to you. How you treat others today is how you will be treated later.
